Pinot’s Palette

image

As parents of 2 my husband and I find it so hard to get out for a date night. As a nanny I normally work on Friday & Saturday nights making it even harder to have a date nights. When we do get out I try to find something fun we haven’t done before. This is very hard to do since we have been together 18 years now.

Painting class are what everyone is doing right now and we have never done. I looked at all the different BYOB painting places and decided to go with Pinots Palette.
Pinot’s Palette is located 2011 Tower Drive, Glenview, IL 60026. It’s about 25 minutes from our house. It was nice to venture out of our normal hang outs. We handed over a little earlier to get dinner. The area is really nice and has tons of places to choose from for dinner and drinks before.

At this location of Pinot’s Palette it isn’t BYOB! Instead it has a fun wine and beer bar, free water and sodas available for $1. The wine & bar are greatly priced; I got a bottle of wine and my husband got Revolution beer. You may bring in your our food as did the group next to us did. They have all the plates, napkins and plastic ware for you will need to use. Also they partnered with Your Pie, so you can also order personal pizza from the bar before class and it will be delivered during the break.

We picked the Chicago Flag Cityscape a 2 hour painting class. I picked this thinking it would be easy but I can say that those Chicago Stars where a little hard. The staff Charles(instructor), Dee(asst) & Sybria(bar) were all very helpful, knowledgeable, and tons of fun.

Over all my husband and I had one of the best date nights we ever had. We will do another class at Pinot’s Palette again. If you are looking for something different and fun try Pinots Palette I highly recommend them. Pinot’s Palette is great for girls night, couples, groups and the also offer kids classes.

Fabula Nebulae

I love love love ❤️💛💚💙💜💗💖 small businesses. I love small businesses even more if they are entirely family owned and operated. When I came across Fabula Nebulae I knew it was a company I needed to blog about. This small business includes Pasaka, her husband, and Pasaka’s brother Justinas. Fabula Nebulae is made in Maine with every single step of the process being touched by their own hands. From recipe development to the website. All Fabula Nebulae products are made right at the family home in a converted sunroom. Knowing all this made me even love the company more.

Fabula Nebulae was started by a mom of 3 more than 5 years ago. She cloth diapered and needed to find a safe diaper cream. As a mom who also cloth diapers trust me it’s hard to find a good safe diaper cream for cloth diapers. It turns out for Pasaka’s family they were allergic to a key ingredient in the cloth diaper cream. This encouraged her to make her own. Fabula Nebulae is committed to making products that contain only natural ingredients, that is safe for everyone.

My family & I got to try out some great products! I tried Fabula Nebulae Calming Lavender for Rough Spots sugar scrub. Since I’ve had my kids; my skin has been dry, hard, & rough. With this sugar scrub my skin turned into silk. It was great! I plan to try out the other like Almond & Honey, Cheering Citrus, and Silky Java Coffee. My skin feels so soft and I want it to stay that way.

My husband got to try the Muscle and Joint soother. As a dad of a 6-year-old who wants to be carried, back ache is a big thing. He was having bad back pain so I applied the Muscle and Joint soother before bed. The next morning he woke up pain-free and super happy. He can’t stop telling everyone about Fabula Nebulae.

My 6-year-old daughter got to try the Monsters Away. The name is just so cute! My daughter has trouble sleeping and this helped. It helps relax and decrease anxiety before bed but most of all keeps Monsters away.

My family is very happy we tried out Fabula Nebulae and will continue to use these products.

Toofeze

imageTeething is a super hard time for parents and caregivers and is sometimes the worst time in a child’s development. With sleepless nights & crabbier days it’s hard on the whole family. For my family It has been a hard couple days with my 14 month old son who is getting his molars. I’ve been looking to help him in any way. Just when I tried everything I received Toofeze baby teether in the mail.
Toofeze has a great mission! It’s to improve the lives of babies and their families during one of the most challenging phases of infant development, TEETHING.

Jake really enjoyed this teether and it helped ease his pain. It has three distinct chewing surfaces; Jake’s favorite was the chew surfaces with Toofeze imprinted on it.

For this blog I did something different. I reached out to a couple mom groups and asked for thoughts on Toofeze. Everyone had nothing but great things to say and how much their children love Toofeze.

Available in 3 colors Mint, Sky, & Coral and also can be engraved for a great keepsake gift. I wish I had gotten an engraved one. I love a keepsake gift.
Easy grib & lite weight for small baby hands. The disk is cool to touch even without being put into the refrigerator. Made from All-Natural and non-toxic ingredients made in China safety tested in the USA. Toofeze® has passed all CSPC, ASTM and CFR toy safety and labeling regulations. Company is based in Denver, Co.
